Ece Cakiroglu (Director/Artist) graduated from King’s College London with a degree in BSc Business Management and Marketing. To explore her passion for visual arts, she earned her Masters degree in Directing at the School of Visual Arts in New York graduating with Paula Rhodes Excellence Award. Her directorial debut, Cracks, has won ‘Best Mystery Short’ (twice) and ‘Best Female Director’ from worldwide festivals.

Along with her work in cinema, she is an abstract painter who is known for the series called 'Nefes'imden' where she uses her breath to create artworks that are one of a kind and cannot be done twice.
